If you visit only one lake while you’re here, that should be the Lake Balaton – or as we call it „the Hungarian sea”.

And we’re not even lying that much: sometime it really was a sea, but today it’s only a 77 square km long lake, where we like to throw fesitvals and parties. And in addition you’ll definitely find as good street food places here as in Budapest.

 

If you’re interested where do the half of the country go for holidays, you should come by, try one of the paddle boats, the Hungarian deep fried flat bread or the fried Hake fish.
