Hungary Time is in the Central European Time Zone and is using Central European Standard Time (CET) which is

1 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

 

Like most states in Europe, Summer (Daylight-Saving) Time is observed in Hungary Time, where the time is shifted forward by 1 hour; 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time. 

 

After the Summer months the time in Hungary Time is shifted back by 1 hour to Central European Time (CET or GMT+1).

 

In 2023 the Winter Time starts on October 29, clocks are turned backward from 3.00AM to 2.00AM to get back to local standard time (CET / GMT+1).

In 2024 Summer (Daylight-Saving) Time will likely start in Hungary in March clocks will have to be switched forward from 2:00AM to 3:00AM, however the exact date is not yet determined.
