Danube Cruiser Boat Service
The Danube boat service of BKV is part of the public transport network and enables you to admire the beauties of Budapest on a route that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. After passing by along the Margaret Island, you will see the building of the Hungarian Parliament. Two hills of the capital city also offer you various and out of the common sights:

the Castle Hill accommodates the Royal Palace, the Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion;

looking at the Gellért Hill you can get a great view of the Liberation Monument and the Citadel.
You can have an overview of the capital city’s bridges throughout your journey. You will pass by some of the most famous universities of Budapest, the Market Hall, the Redoute, the Danube promenade and many luxury hotels. The boats are available free of extra charge on working days if you are a BKK pass holder. BKK single tickets are not valid on the boats.
