Budapest has a blooming coffeehouse culture since the 19th century. In the first three decades of the 1900’ it just exploded: during this time almost 500 coffee houses opened across the city.

​And roughly 90 years went by without stopping: besides our craftbeer culture we are really proud of our barista skills too.

Alongside the big franchise coffee shops you’ll find many smaller, but hip local places too, where you can also try several traditional Hungarian desserts.
